The magic of Serendipity

We are a family of magicians. We do not deal in the occult or are we conjurers. We are the people that make the magic happen. You have seen us when you pick up a magazine or watch TV and see an ad for your favorite restaurant or a beautifully dressed model. You may see us at a special event, or an art museum. You may go to a corporate party, an unforgettable wedding, a VIP birthday party or a pop-up in a mall and you will see us. We are the creatives, working with our clients and other artisans, to bring the magic into people’s lives. We influence the influencers. We work with a diverse range of important clients, both corporate and private. We are fashion stylists, painters, master builders, photographers, and graphic designers. A family of dreamers who make our own and other people’s dreams come true. Joined genetically and by marriage, we are from different states and different countries. Our world is filled with people of all hues, shapes and sizes. Our hearts are rainbow hearts. We believe that money is not the end but the beginning of sharing.

We invite you into our world to hear the stories and meet the people that inhabit our collective family memory. While we have evolved into magical thinkers and creators, we come from people of the land. During the 30 years following the American Civil War, ten divergent families weathered the arduous crossing of the of the Atlantic Ocean. They came from Austria, Bavaria, Germany, Scotland, England and Ireland. Some entered at the Port of Houston while others would anchor in the New York harbor. They temporarily settled in Illinois, Iowa, New York and the mountains of Appalachia. Eventually, all would start making their way by horseback and covered wagon to the Texas heartland. All settling within 200 miles of each other. They would suffer the loss of wives and children through illness, disease and childbirth. They would endure the unrelenting heat of the Texas summers to be followed by the bitter cold of Texas winters. They would live through droughts, floods, tornados, and grasshoppers the size of a man’s thumb that could devour entire crops overnight. Every family came to work the land, build homes, create families, build churches and schools. Some would even form bands. But most importantly, along the way each family would be joined by friendship and love.

It is time say it…We have been blessed by the wonderous lady Serendipity. She has woven her threads through the generational fabric of our lives. She is how such a diverse group came to be joined together. She sets the play in motion, but it is each generation that writes its own story. It is where dreams and hard work, belief in self and belief in others takes over and drives the saga forward.
